Experience.
This project merges SOAR's logistical expertise with EPIC Labs skills and global connections of Itkan Robotics. SOAR (Student Organized Academic Refinement) has partnered with Plano ISD, tutoring 2000+ students in underprivileged areas and boasting scalability. The robotics teams have conducted international outreaches in 30+ countries, promoting STEM knowledge. However, there is a need for more hands-on experience in robotics and STEM. Moving forward, the project will leverage the organizations' strengths: robotics teams for box design and SOAR for enhanced accessibility through tutoring.
Connections.
Our extensive robotics outreach efforts have fostered valuable connections with robotics teams worldwide, as well as educational institutions in underprivileged communities, war-torn countries, and among displaced students. These connections enable us to effectively engage with diverse communities and bring the transformative power of robotics education to those who need it the most. For our first deployment we plan to send TechnicBoxes to communites in the middle east and Ukraine
Scaling.
At TechnicBox, we take pride in achieving an impactful price of approximately $15 per individual. However, our commitment to accessibility drives us to continuously improve. In the next couple of months, our goal is to further decrease the cost per impact to less than $10, making our educational resources even more accessible to underrepresented communities. Simultaneously, we aim to enhance the impact of each box by including a broader range of activities, maximizing the learning opportunities within a single package. Our vision extends beyond boxes. We're expanding SOAR's tutoring network with students in our local communities, harnessing the expertise of robotics teams like EPIC and Iktan, and collaborating with professors. By collaborating with professors and students we hope to empower underprivileged STEM communities worldwide.
